What happens to a million tokens
Bought at the open of a round, held, and paid at the close. The figure beside each moment is what the settlement would actually divide on — the same function, evaluated at that minute.
It weighs nothing at all
Not a little — nothing. A buy, a transfer in, an airdrop and a rebuy after a sale all start in exactly the same place, which is why weight cannot be bought, borrowed or sent to anybody.
A quarter of it counts
Weight has been climbing every second since it landed. There was no moment when it switched on, and there will not be one — which means there is no moment to be standing on, and none to plan around.
Half
Half the round, half the bag. If a second wallet held half of this parcel instead, the two together would weigh exactly what this one does — so splitting across addresses gains nothing, and nothing has to be policed.
Somebody trims the top
Selling takes the newest parcel first. This one is the oldest thing in the wallet, so it is the last thing to go — managing a bag and keeping your weight are not in conflict here.
Full weight, and the round pays
The round's creator fee is divided strictly in proportion to weight. The ledger naming every wallet — including the ones getting nothing, with the reason — goes up before a single payment moves.
